If you have never tried MAX BRAKE you should. I have owned (i hate to say) probably 10 trucks in last 10yrs and all of them with exception to the last two WITHOUT max brake. Yeah other controllers work and some are ok but if you want great service and smooth braking without clutching on electric brake systems then give them a shout in Creole LA. Elec over HYD brakes are so dang smooth its like they are HYD only.
Heres the deal for my shout: I not anyone else broke the thumb slide off last tues morning getting truck washed and me being in a hurry slid into the truck without moving the seat back after they washed it. Yes I did it. I called them up while on the way to Kinder LA and mailed it Thursday USPS got to them Friday. I got a UPS notice monday of delivery for today. Its back already. I tore the thing up. The charge was $0.00
Not even shipping.
This folks is another reason to use Max Brake. I have even called them on Sunday. Dont expect an answer but they did to me. Go figure.
Thanks again guys. I do not want another brake controller period. Ever again.

Thanks for the review, I have been intending to switch to a MAXbrake sometime this year. Seems I will have to stop using the trailer for a afternoon at least to make the change..
