I have a week long trip planned in Sept. and have been having truck issues. The trip is about 500 miles round trip & not sure I trust the truck enough to make it at this point. I am considering renting a truck, but a quick google search has turned up nothing obvious. I'd be looking for a 3/4 ton with gooseneck ball to pull 2 horse, 17 ft aluminum trailer. Anyone have any ideas where I can start shopping for a rental?

Get the truck fixed and join US Rider, in case you break down. There are no rental agencies that offer a truck with a gooseneck hitch.

We were in the same situation last fall: had to go to a riding clinic for 4 days and discovered something wrong with the truck(it wasn't really an issue, but the wrty was ending the same weekend...so we had no option). We were able to use a friend large SUV (he have a BP for now...), but every place we called they did not rent truck with brake controllers (so i doubt with GN hitches). At that time Dodge was doing a promotion of buy a truck and bring it back 60 days later no questions asked....that was going to be out last resort.Try to get the truck fixed or ask friends....it's probably your only option

You can now rent a truck from Enterprise Truck Rental they have a new department where you can rent a truck with hitches in the bed. Their are certain things they ask for to set up an account. You must have a truck of the same size in service. They also work with American Horse Trailer Rental in Norco, California
