Do you need a special mirror to put in your LQ or will just anyone work if it is installed correctly? Wondering if it needs to be shatter proof or what not? Just bought a full lenght one from Meijer and was going to put it on the pass thru door and got to thinking about that....

We have a mirror in the bathroom cabinet and also a full length mirror on one of the walls....regular mirrors, never a problem. Mike
Same experience. We used extra clips on the bottom (3 EA) to secure the weight on rough roads, and have never had any problems. We purchased our long mirrors at Walmart and removed the frames before the trailer installations.
There are two different clear plastic "L" clips available. One is for thicker glass than are these mirriors. Obtain the thinner depth varients, and the mirror will be more secured after it's installed.

i put a "plastic" mirror on the wall above shower so that my husband can shave. and i can not tell it isn't "real". you can search online and have it cut whatever size you need - seemed pretty reasonable $$.

Thanks guys! I bought a beveled (sp) edge mirror, so no frame for it. It has the plastic clips with it, I think only four though. So I must be able to buy more of those from somewhere huh. Will check into that before I put it on the door! Thanks again! You guys are great!
