Hi, Its probably been a topic covered before but here it goes. I have a Nissan Titan with a 6.5' bed length. I'd like to pull a 2 horse aluminum gooseneck with it without crunching in to my truck. Is this practical?

I've pulled a lot of miles in short bed Ford whcih has the 6.5 foot bed.
Measure where the ball will sit and compare that measurement to the distance from the center of the Gooseneck to the outer edge of the trailer. a real boxy front end might be a problem, a tapered nose trailer, probably will be fine.

We haven't had any problems w/our 2004 short bed ford 250 and a 95 featherlite for the last 6 years. I do keep an eye out though when I make really tight turns.

I have pulled a few thousand miles with a MegaCab Dodge short bed and no issues. You honestly would only have a problem if you have an 8' wide trailer with a nose that is not tapered. You don't see to many trailers that don't have a tapered nose of some sort much anymore. If you get into any tight turns, such as a very tight 90, just watch the cab and trailer and widen your turn if you have to. It's really not that big of a deal. A little common sense goes a long way.

The only thing I would worry about on your Nissan is the bed-rails. How high are they and will they be too high for the GN? You may have to "jack" up the axles on your GN trailer so that it rides level? I know the Ford F-150's side rails are too high for a GN.
