Looking for ideas on tying down a couple of motorcycles in a slant load trailer.  I would like to use them in the front slant or two and still be able to haul horses in the back two slants.  I would like some type of mounting system that would be flush when the rubber mats go back in.

Thanks for any help or experience anyone on here can share.

Grady

Southwest Wheel has a nice flush mount toggle ring that works really nice. There are other suppliers that offer similar rings..

I haul a couple of Honda scooters in my front stall. I have rings on the front wall that we strap them to plus we also bring a strap from the manger to the back drop down door bars. We always put a rubber tray with a fluid pad under them to prevent fluids from leaking onto the WERM floor.

Used to haul a Harley FXR in my front slant.  Built a steel mounting rack with 2 3/8 bolts holding it down.  I just drilled holes through the floor.  Figured it would be a floor drain when not in use.  Just bolted it in on top of the mats and and had tie down loops welded to the rack where the bolts went thru the floor, center had a cradle to hold the front tire straight, just used a couple of tiedown straps to the loops.  Lots of miles no problems.  I now have a bigger GN trailer with mangers in all slants.  I currently carry a ZR750 Kawasaki in it.  I open the front door (has a built in manger), wiggle the bike into place and put it on the center stand, close the door.  It rides just fine with no ties, just sits there, very tight fit.  Plan on running the truck to Wyoming this week, hop on the bike and come home and get back to work.  Really like the convenience.  You won't be sorry it's worth the trouble to get them in there.
