Has anyone added living quarters to their trailer? Nothing fancy, just a toilet/shower combo and maybe some cabinets with a sink and fridge. Possibly a setup for television. Any idea what the ball park cost of that would be? Any information would be appreciated.

You can do a search on DIY Living Quarters and find more reading than you want. As far as the cost its like everything else you can spend a little or spend alot it just depends on how fancy and nice you want it. Just a ballpark guess would be between $2000 and $5000 on materials

I can't address things like cost of plumbing, since ours was already in, but we did a complete remodel of the living quarters. I suggest you make a shopping list, and start googling for the items you need. Some helpful starting points, though. I bought a tablet of 1/4" graph paper, and drew numerous different configurations until I had the one I liked best. Then I highlighted in yellow existing plumbing. Red was where I wanted 12v connections for lights, TV, stereo. (Don't forget to put a light over the sink, if you can.) Green was where I wanted 110 outlets for microwave, fridge, TV, countertop for crockpot, BR for hairdryer, etc. Something I wish we had done: Our ceiling lights had switches on them, but I wish we had put a switch for them right inside the door. To keep the weight of the cabinets less than purchased cabinets, we framed our cabinets out of 1x1's and 2x2's, then faced them with sheets of 1/4inch flakeboard with a woodgrain printed paper, like cheap desks are made out of. flakeboard.com I couldn't find a retailer, but on their locator, there are distributors, and the one closest to me was willing to sell directly to me. About $32 per 4x8 sheet. Bought the cabinet doors at a surplus cabinet shop. The wall covering is paneling that looks like parchment wall paper, I think about $16 for a 4x8 sheet. Roadtrucker.com has a 16" ac/dc tv/dvd player for $240, get the mounting hardware from monoprice.com. When looking for 12v interior lighting, you can try searching under boat lighting, too. The refrigerator, if you get a gas refrigerator, will be your biggest single item. We had it shipped to where my husband works, it saves on shipping sometimes if you ship to a business. If you have wide, short windows, mine are 60"w x 18" long, I found selectblinds.com to be the most reasonable for me. A long post, hope this helps.
