East Fork Stables TN, we are going to make a reservation for 3 days in a couple of weeks. There is a lot of different horse campgrounds and I hear really good things about East Fork. Where are the cabarns located from the main campground? Thanks,

East fork is a great place to ride. They had some cabins that were right across the arena area from the campground and some that people drive back and forth to. The campground has many sections and spreads out quite a bit so it depends on which cabin and which part of the campground. Unless you are a die hard endurance trail rider, you won;t be disappointed with East Fork

Can you ride directly from camp into the trails. I have heard that some of the camps at BSF you have to trailer to or have quite a ride to the trails. Which ones are easiest to access from the camp. Planning a trip there but do not want to have to trailer to the trailheads.

While East Fork is close to the Big South Fork area, they are not the same trails. East Fork is private property where BSF is not. There are many trails right out of camp at East fork and they range from very easy to quite challenging.

East Fork is probably one of the best, but you will possibly be riding some open fields/roads with little to no shade, but you can plan your rides somewhat around them if you are careful, they are no by any means cheap but it is a really nice place. if you go make sure you go to the overlook called "Base of The Rock".....it's breath taking
