I have a 2007 Dodge Mega Cab and I have people tell me I need to have a gooseneck extension. I have had no clearance issues or turning issues. Is an extension necessary?

The only reason for a hitch extender is to help eliminate clearance issues. If you have none, it would be a waste of money and time to source one.
