My daughter purchased an older Shelby 2 horse straight load trailer, about 5 days later she was hit and the trailer is a total loss.

My question is since they dont make Shelby trailers anymore, what is a comparable trailer to the Shelby?? As far a structual integrity, quality etc. I am having to do most of the leg work on the trailer for the insurance company, and we need to get her a replacement ASAP!!

She like hauling my big gooseneck 3 horse way too much

We will probaby get her a CM, as I have loved my two horse slant and thats what my big trailer is now. But that is a whole different question.....Just need to know what trailers compare to the Shelby.

And yes thank God my daughter walked away from the accident, and the horse is healing.

Thanks,

Shawna

If you just bought it 5 days earlier, I would sure think your Bill of Sale would be a good start on determining value.

Yes the bill of sale will help. But the ins company is wanting comparables, and there is nothing out there with the Shelby name that is close. So just wanting to know what was the same quality of trailer??

Paul ~ not to be rude but did you do a search?? I have searched for a compairable Shelby trailer all over the internet - there is not one to be found that I have seen. I have done my homework. What I was wondering is what is a comparable trailer.

Its ok NRS is helping me handle the ins. company, so hopefully they can help me to reason with them.

Thank you,

Shawna

You are just looking for replacement for a STEEL 2 horse bumper pull...they are relatively cheap compared to any of the Aluminum 2 horse bumper pulls...ANY STEEL 2 horse trailer IS COMPATIBLE...
