I have had some trailer brake issues. Have a Journey controller and have come to the conclusion it needs replacing. Been looking at the Prodigy. What type/brand do you guys use and like?

I had a Drawtite (timed controller) for years. Had a big truck with good brakes so didn't have many issues. Decided to upgrade last month to a P3. I should have done it sooner. Much better braking performance and control. Don't be intimidated by the installation. The P3 has four wires just like your old controller. Match the function (not by the wire color) and you'll be good to go.

P3, works great for cattle, hay, LQ trailer etc... much less "grabby" i.e. more smooth in operation.....we like it and it has been in use some years now, no issues, and like the "short" protection.
