I have finally narrowed down some specs I would like on a basic 2H straight load trailer (no mangers) with a small tack area, these include rumber floors and a pass-thru to the tack area...why is this combination so hard to find?  I realize I can custom order, but these two things seem like such huge conveniences with little or no downside...No heavy mats to move and access to get horse and self ready during bad weather, etc..

This combination just does not seem very common in the 'standard' features for trailers already on dealers lots.  What am I missing?

FYI, I would like a 2H on the lighter/shorter side, think 3200-3400ish empty wt. max (less is better) and 16ish ft total length.

Floor liners for horses is a relatively limited business at this time...and a pass-thru door is overhead to many customers

It appears that your talking about a bumper pull straight load.  We have sold many straight load bumper pulls over the years; some with Rumber floors; but seldom do we get a request for walk thru doors in a bumper pull.  We do a lot of them in goosenecks, but probably one out of 30 in a bumper pull.  I'm assuming most dealers do the same, when ordering bumper pulls for stock.  It is a fairly pricey option on most aluminum or aluminum skinned bumpers.  They're somewhat less costly on the steel  models.

There are only a handful of manufacturers that do Rumber. So that will simplify your choices. Then as Jim Bob says, you just need to order one with a door. I've generally seen the door used in a camping situation where one was staying in the dressing room. Not so likely to happen in a BP, so I guess the door isn't ordered in order to keep price down.

Thanks for the input!

I really like the look of Blue Ridge trailers, but haven't seen one in person yet....bonus that they are somewhat closeby.
