I have owned a LQ trailer for about 6 months now and I am starting to have a better understanind of how each of the systems (water, gas, electric) work in my trailer, it's time to clean up the messy wires on the front of the trailer and also add a disconnect for the batteries since my kids seem to leave a light, radio, or something on each trip that seems to drain the battery.  As part of the battery system I have something that looks similar to what is shown in the attached picture....can someone please tell me what it is.

Mike

I believe that is going to be some sort of a relay or breaker.  I had to replace one of these on my last trailer, mine was a 30amp breaker going to the hydro. jack.

I would say it is an auto reset, thermally actuated circuit breaker. If it has an external button, it would be a manual reset breaker. They are used in many auto, marine, and rv applications. They are available in many amperage ratings.
