That is really different! Looks like horses can back out maybe easier since they don't have to turn. Not sure, but it looks like a door latch on inside wall, lower panel, head side. I would hate to think about replacing the LQ door and hope it wouldn't leak. Do the horses also lose head room with the tapered wall/roof? That would concern me.

That is a very different looking trailer. Wonder if it pulls easier against a head wind? Looks like a inside compartment door storage inside the horse part of the trailer.

Says in the description the spare tire is stored inside the horse area. Maybe that access door is for the spare tire? Sure doesn't seem very convenient to me if that's the case.....

Looks like what they call a "Horse Float" over in New Zealand and Australia.

They're Canadian made, just south of Calgary. Don't know if they're still in business, you don't see many around anymore.

Saw one at the High School National Finals Rodeo in 2001. Was checking in horses and got to look in side but don't recall just what it looked like. Yep, they were from Canada

I saw one in person in western North Dakota a few years ago. The owner let me snoop around a little bit, and I liked what I saw a lot. If Airstream had made a horse trailer, I figure they would have come up with something similar. Every once in a while, you see a Heartland come up for sale on HTW.

Speaking of Air Stream...I think if they were to decide to go into the horse trailer business they would make a bloody fortune...them folks know how to build some fine travel trailers...they have it down to a science !! JMHO

carry on..............

we are customizing an interior for a lady, to be modeled after an AirStream.  Will take some pics after completion.

Now I really want to see this AirStream modeled version when you're done.
