I have decided to sell my 3 horse Trails West goose neck, which I really like  a lot and down size to a BP Stock trailer. The only Reason is that  I really don't use it as much as I would like to is, that I don't have the time to travel and camp any more.  I thought that I would just get a 2 Horse Bumper pull stock  instead, and just do day rides and stay close to home, and also use it for hauling other things besides my horses. Question is What would be the best trailer for the money, don't need anything fancy. Thank you inadvance for the help.

How about another Trails West? Maybe an Adventure model bumper pull? Great economical trailers. Lots of features for the money. 7 feet tall and will accomodate a horse up to 16 hands.

It really depends on how you define 'best'.  Some people think that the highest quality means the best; others think that having a low-priced trailer that might not have smoothwelds, or good fit-up, but is cheap, is the best.  For me, getting a used, high quality 4Star was the best for my money.  A good friend of mine got an economy trailer with more features, but poor quality, and thought that was the best for her money.

If you give us an idea of what 'best' is for you, we can make a better recommendation.

What I mean Best is that it will hold up and not rust away or fall apart. Used would be fine. Would like to stay under $6,000. This Trailer will only be use for day trips, no long hauling. I hope this helps some. I know what you mean by what best in one eye is different in another. Again Thank you
