I am looking at a 4h Platinum that I found a smoking deal on. Only problem is it has bus windows on the butt. Anyone ever had Bus windows removed and drops installed?

If you could find a drop window that is the same size, It's probably a doable project.  But most drops are bigger than the bus windows and that probably would require a LOT of structural change to the framing. Which would make the project too expensive to be practical.

No such thing,,,,,,,,,,,,what I am thinking of doing is buying the drops from Platinum and having them installed. Just curious if anyone had ever done it.

Contact Platnum and see what they say. As PH said, the window sizes are not usually interchangeable and could require structural changes for an installation

I am by no means an expert but, I do remember being told that the regular windows on an Exiss I was looking at could be replaced with a drop down window. At the time I wasn't quite sure the salesman knew what he was talking about but saw them later. They are not the big drops like they are on the front but look like sliding windows that actually fold down. Shadow uses these on many of their trailers and they allow a lot more air flow than the sliders. Good luck!

Ok, I guess I didn't make myself very clear. I know that the windows are not the same size and that there will be some major work needed to do make the replacements. I also have spoken to platinum dealer and the factory that said yes it can be done. I guess what I was asking is if anyone had done it and what sort of luck they had with it.

<script> window.setTimeout("watermark()",50);
