I normally get custom saddles but I needed a saddle for riding young horses so I just ordered one of these ranch saddles (style 650).  Mine will be all rough out.  I will let you know how I like it after I put some hours in it.  I think the Cactus saddles are of good quality.

I have Dale Martin ranch cutter saddles and regular cutting saddles that I absolutely love! They are the most comfortable saddles I have ever sat in- especially when it's 8 hours or more a day! Would highly recommend them!

I just had to say the word Cactus does not bring to mind a vision of a comfortable saddle----kind of like a dentist with the last name Payne.  LOL

I bought a Cactus saddle last year and just love it. It's my most favorite saddle I've ever owned. I like the quality, the feel of the leather, it's the best fit my hard to fit horse and it fits me too, very comfortable. I also like the weight for the quality it is. Rancher would be heavier than mine.

I bought it used from a friend who had it less than a year and she sold it because it didn't fit her. I had questions and called the company a few different times about the saddle and they were great to work with.
