I think I found a truck candidiate. Does this look like a good one for pulling a 2 horse straight load with dressing room? I haven't settled on the exact trailer yet. Probably talking 3000lbs empty, 5200 with 2 horses. I'd rather have overkill in a truck to know I'm being safe and also if I ever want to get a gooseneck trailer.

I haul with a 2000 Chevy 2500. 154,000 miles and still going strong. Love your truck, what ever you buy, take care of it and it should take care of you. Only thing I hate about bumper pulls is the sway. You may need to consider anti-sway bars. Good luck!
