If you have some time, go to the trailers for sale section. Select non LQ, 2H GN trailers of any brand, any price, anywhere.
What do you find? Many dealers trying to sell BP trailers under this listing. If you again go back to selecting the criteria, and select BP that's what you get, no or few GN trailer being advertised under this listing.
Do the dealers think that we are so ignorant, as to not to know the differences between the two types of trailers? Isn't it obvious? Don't the dealers know? Would you purchase a trailer from someone who had no clue about the product he's selling?
One or two mistakes is expected. Would you purchase a trailer from someone who was conducting a misrepresentation or is lazy in his business dealings?

It's like some sort of subliminal message.... Trying to slip the BP trailers in between the goosenecks...
Try looking up a 2+1 trailer... They may be listed under 2 horse or 3 horse.... Some of the two horse side ramp trailers may be listed as a three horse... Some folks don't pay attention to what they are doing when listing... Some folks doing the listing don't know a gooseneck from a bumperpull, side ramp, 2+1, straight, slant, etc...
These are the same folks that will tell you that a steel frame aluminum skin trailer is... ALL ALUMINUM!!! I try not to do business with these folks.

I suggest that alot of dealers don't use, or have the knowledge of how to REALLY use, this site to properly advertise their trailers. Some owners let their sec. or a new sales assoc. place the ads because they won't take the time to learn how.

That has been a pet peeve of mine for quite some time now. It is not nearly as bad on other sites, so I wonder if it is something about the HTW entry screen for sellers???

It's not much better when you check the box for managers you'll get trailers w/out managers but it also won't show all the trailers with managers. I think that whoever is setting up the description is just lazy and isn't paying attention to the details.

So the dealer is skipping the larger market of a bumper pull to try and sway someone from a gooseneck?
I would have to say the vast majority are pure and simple mistakes.
I did a search for the CPO Certified Pre-owned trailers listed on this site. There were 96. Fully 1/2 looked to be brand new units that were listed as CPO. What gives with this??
