What possible 5.9 and rear end ratios are there and what are they?

Thank you.  Settling an argument.

It can have any of the following: 3.5; 3.9; 4.09; or 4.10.  This is if its either a V-8 gas or Turbo Diesle.

Depends on year, body style, 2WD or 4WD, 2500 or 3500, single or dual...

Up through 2002 shows it could be 3.55 or 4.10.

2003 and later shows it to be 3.73 or 4.10.

I agree with the above until you get into the 4500/5500 series trucks. Then you have 4.30, 4.44, and 4.88 possibly a few others with 2010 and the new 2011 that is supposed to be available in April 2010.

Need MORE details, year and model and what engine!  There is just too many to guess.  early diesels (1989 to 1993) you could even get 3.08 gears, thats how they would get mid 20's for fuel mileage.
