A couple of years ago you all told me how to change a wire in my adapter to make my inside lights work.  I lost the old adapter and had to buy another one.  I remember it had something to do with the center post.  My trailer has a 6 wire plug and my truck has the 7 wire flat RV type.  Any help would be appreciated as I have to leave for Texas early in the morning.  truck is 2007 Ford and trailer is 99 hart bumper pull

On the adapter, when you take it apart, only 2 wires should be moveable.  Exchange those two, and try that...your adapter probably has the center post doing your brake wire, when it should be you 12 v hot or charging wire.  Hope that fixes you up!
