Looked at a Baron TC w/Insta-tack!!! Wife wants something to do the run-around thing with.... Sold my little steel BP 14' stock trailer several weeks ago for just shy of what we paid for it back in 2002.
Any of you ever priced a trailer by the pound..? My little steel stock trailer was about $1.00 per pound... Could have sold it last summer for scrap and made money!!! Our 2000 Silver Star 3 horse, 7' DR, mid tack was around $3.00 per pound. The 2008 Cherokee Super Chief, 6 horse head to head ran around $4.40 per pound.....
Now for the Brenderup!!!! When I did the math on the Brenderup, that little suka came in at ...... $7.44 per pound... That's right, SEVEN DOLLA'S, FOURTY FOUR cents per pound.. Needless to say, we didn't bring home a new or used Brenderup!!! Those "Solid Phenol Resin" wall panels must be some sort of spaceage technology, like velcro, tang and teflon! I guess you get what you pay for!!! I'm going to have one, just not as soon as I thought....
Wife bought her a 2010 Mecedes Benz ML350 4matic... Picture below stolen from another site.

WELCOME BACK!
HTB
By the way, that's a nice little set up! Just don't think my 1300 and 1400 lb quarter horses would fit! Was told that they was barrel horse. Not because they could run barrels, because they look like barrels!
There room for 3400# of meat in that Baron TC. Out squatty body TWH's are around 1000-1100 pound, depending on the time of year. That Icelandic of ours (Tonka), couldn't see over the rear ramp!! After kicking, beating and banging on several of these Brenderups, I know I would rather have one of those rather than an all aluminum two horse straight load BP behind that MB. The meanest thing for my one legged self is the DR, short door, high threshhold with a flip up thing so you can stand up once you get inside. It's not a trailer that you would want to have to enter and exit the DR multiple times over the period of an hour or so, but then again, I don't have any business trying to jump, crawl, fall or drag myself in and out of there anyways, LOL..... The GVWR on this Baron TC Brenderup is 5500#. The ML350 4 Matic is rated to tow 7000#, according to the MB lit. Got to fess up, for a short time back in the early (80's"), I did own a "Rice" trailer...
