Ok, that's why the stalls are smalller, I forgot they have a newer model out now. I was thinking about ones like mine the Signature and Serria models.... Still think Sundowner is the way to go.

The 725 uses 42" stalls and a 26" shortwall dress standard; and the 726 use 36" stalls and a 43" shortwall dress. This was models built prior to 2008. Both the 725 and 726 are lined from front to back, and top to bottom standard.
Likewise the 720 and the 721 have the same stall sizes and dress dimensions.

That's interesting. The ad and the dealer say it is a 2009. Now I'm totally confused. I wish the Sundowner website actually told you which trailer was which!

odds are it is a 727 that is made all aluminum in 2009 and that conversion is done in colman ok. Better by far than Kiefer. Just shake the drop down windows, manger doors, or camper door

After tons of weighing the options, we've gone for this one. We decided that we don't want to travel with this big a vehicle or this amont of weight. We're going to try to make less of an imprint on the environment by checking out some other options.

Thanks for wasting our time, and maybe you can hug a tree for me too. How do you go from we want one of these trailers (that are both great trailers) to we are going in another direction. And you must have weighed these decisions pretty quick.

I don't think this thread was a waste of time. It helps me out when I read questions posed by others and get to read the responses from all of you more experienced folks out there.

Just letting you all know that I finally bought a trailer today after a great deal of thought and a lot of kind help from my local Kieffer dealer...am I allowed to say that.?..Heritage Carraige in Middleboro, MA. Because of my practical and minimalist tendancies (please don't blast me), I decided against an LQ trailer and bought the most versitile trailer I have seen in my six week search, a Kiefer 2+1 gooseneck with loads of windows, two drop downs by the horses' heads, the ability to turn into two box stalls. I added a 19 foot awning. There are lots of ways the trailer can be set up and plenty of room for me to sleep in the gooseneck. My trailer dealer not only did not push me, but was willing to help me in my search for trailers from other sources. I am so glad that I was able to complete my purchase through him, after all the work he did.
Most of all, I'm glad the search is over. It has not been fun!

If you are a competitor...you will love this design...especially if you show two horses...one in the front box stall...while you are competing on the other...
