I'm getting so sick and tired of rain. None of the local trails are open because everything is so saturated. I looked at the 10 day forecast...EVERY DAY RAIN!!! Yesterday was the dryest day, only had an inch the day before, so I put my truck in 4LO hooked up my trailer and pulled it through the mud just to get it to a concrete place to park it. I'll deal with the ruts later. I'm so tired of my dry lot being mud, not being able to ride, can't mow the grass, can't wash the truck, can't plant a garden.....the radio said that this is the wettest past two months in history for my area of central IL. I believe it. Maybe it will stop someday....and the sump pumps in the basement will quit running. Then we will probably have the worst drought in history....

Be glad for the moisture... we haven't had any appreciable rain (less than 2 inches) since September of last year... Our pasture looks like the sahara. the dirt is blowing up in dunes. Can't keep shavings in the stalls for the freaking wind that blows @ 40 mph all the time..
went to Bandera this past weekend for Ranch Heritage Festival.. The horses got to eat a little GREEN grass!! Their poop actually turned green rather than brown for a little while.

Another New Mexican crying for rain. Was watering plants and a horny toad came out to get a drink. Poor thing it was a three legged horny toad. Just a little breeze stirs up the dust. Its sooo dry that I have to soak the stalls and put hoof dressing on everyone. They get so dry that my farrier has a hard time using his nippers. Hopefully July will be a wet monsoon. I'm even going thru lotion like mad. This evening 14% humidity.

I've canceled my second camping trip. Argg!! Every where around me is flooding. La Cygne is under water along with other towns and property along the Marais Des Cygne river. This is just like last year, except the storms haven't been as violent. Just lots and lots of rain. You can hear the ground gurgling as it is trying to absorb the water, but more is on the way for the next 4 days.

same here in Oklahoma, Rain Rain Rain! We commercial bale sqaure baled hay and we thinking it will be a good year for it if it ever dries up. In the mean time we got to go camping last weekend even thou it was calling for rain and it didnt! Have the Belle Star ride this Sunday and not sure we will be that lucky. I have had to replant most of my garden cause it rotted! But I always say the Good Lord knows what he is doing so I just keep trusting him.

More rain on the way here. The weekend is what everyone is looking for since it is the only days that show no rain showers. Hope others who need the water get it also. I would not hurt my feelings at this time and would help us with the water levels. I'm just glad that we haven't been flooded out yet.

We're doing the happy dance here 'cuz it's supposed to rain for 3 days. Of course, it's today through the weekend so I can't ride, and it's supposed to stop on Monday when my work week starts. Can't complain though. The grass is all turning brown and the fire season is almost upon us. Any rain at all is welcome.

Put your slicker on and go for a ride. I can't choose what days I want to get out, So I have to make do with what ever weather shows up. And we had a lot of rain all weekend.
