I have a generator.  Do you think it is important to have two batteries with a LQ trailer?  (It comes with one).

Also jack.  Do you think the extra 750 is worth it for an electric jack?

Thanks!

I was told it is important to have 2 batteries if you have a furnace in your trailer.  As far as the automatic jack,  I think it is essential for trailer with LQ's because they are just so heavy.  It will encourage you to get the weight off the back of your truck bed too while you are parked for the day and save the springs on your truck.  Those are my 2 cents.

I would not want a LQ without a power jack. And I wouldn't want a power jack without 2 batteries. So it looks like I say you need both!

I've had jacks that I crank, I've had an electric jack and I now have a hydralic jack.  And I'm not going back to either of the 1st two. Hydralic is way faster up/down .

I don't always want to run my generator. I just use it when I run microwave or when I need to recharge the batteries.  I use the batteries for all lights and to run the furnace. I would have to use my generator more frequently if I only had one battery. Could I get by with one?  Probably. Do I want to go out and start my generator more frequently? No.

I got the extra battery but opted out of the jack.  I need the exercise.  LOL!

I use my generator ALL the time - to run my computer and TV.  I have to - to show people photos.

I love to use a microwave to.

I am getting my trailer this weekend...CAN NOT WAIT!  YIPPEEE!

Thanks again for all your help!!  You all at this forum are the best!
