Which Outback Ranch in Minnesota? I'm aware of two places that go by that name--one west of Brainerd near Pillager, and one between Houston and Spring Grove. I've never been to either. I think the one near Pillager uses a lot of the trails within the Pillsbury State Forest, which is really nice riding (been there many times). I've noticed the rides from Outback get off the main trails and use a lot of the "deer trails" which is fun.

We went to Outback Ranch by Houston last October, at the peak of the fall season. It was beautiful and the camping was very nice. Not much more than two good days of riding. Outback has a maze of trails on the hillside and top. They also connect up to Wet Bark. Wet Bark has maybe 9 or 10 miles of riding (just guessing). All of the trails were mowed and very well maintained. Some of the hills are quite steep. We would go back.
Another great place across the Mississippi and up the river more is Bremer Creek.
The campground is quiet and completely secluded from traffic and people. Great star gazing at night. Lots of hills and an unbelievable deer population. Check it out. Happy trails.
