Yep, it's real. It's most likely just done so it can be moved a few spaces down every week so it won't get towed or ticketed.

I saw a setup similar to the SUV but had a horse trailer hooked to the ball mounted on the roof. It was back in 1996 at the NC State Fair Horse Show. I actually took a picture of it since I did not think anyone would believe me. But, I have no clue as to where that pic is now. They had installed huge roll bars and metal plates. The concept was just stupid to say the least..................
