Help please, my husban and I have a new cimmarron 4 horse gooseneck that we are putting a small weekender into. We are having trouble figuring out what R value insulation is best to use. we travel in to many different climates from califonia to texas. Any seguestions would be greatly appreciated.

on mine i used 1" blue styrofoam,i think it had a r-value of 5. also after i ran my furring strips i cut 3/4 " styrofoam to fit in between the strips i dont think you can have to much insulation....You can also look into the bubble wrap insulation not sure of the r-value

I have heard that foamboard, with bubblewrap covering it and the structural braces, works very well. Also can use fiberglass or cotton insulation batts between braces, covering all with bubblewrap.
