This is going to sound goofy I'm sure, but, here goes.We took our trailer to a show over the weekend to camp in.Yesterday AM,when we were unhooking the water and dumping tanks,we saw that there was a BIG sooty patch coming from the water heater door,on the door itself, and up the side of the trailer wall!!! Talk about something that will scare you, we couldn't imagine what happened.
We have a big MAXX air vent fan in our bath, and we were running it during our showers.I told my husband that I smelled propane, and turned off the vent fan,and didn't smell it anymore.Co2 alarm didn't sound, and I have a smoke alarm in the closet over the water heater, and it didn't sound.
Does anyone know what may have been going on here? I sure dont' want to camp in it until we find out.We had used it Friday AM,and Saturday, also, without seeing anything like this happen.
The propane tank was getting low on fuel, could the low pressure have caused it?

Location: Where the wind comes sweepin' down the plain...
Gard's right. Something wasn't allowing the propane to burn clean. Bug, spiderweb, something. I had a spiderweb get me on mine. cleaned it out, worked great again.

I do have some good pictures.Friday night, they showcased the past 12 World Grand Champions in their own class (not competing) and it was great. Also a friend of mine (ones that we got the palo filly from that is injured) showed her 2 yr old gelding in the model class and got 4th.I'll send you some of those pictures! Beautiful horses.
I didn't even have time to watch the versatility classes!
