http://www.slabtowntrailrides.com/ We just got back from a wonderful weekend with friends at this place. The campground is really nice. Level and shaded campsites with roomy stalls right across from the sites. Very reasonably priced. The trails are nice and shaded and about enough trails for a long weekend of riding. The owner, Greg is very nice and accommodating.

Thanks for the info. Good to hear from people that have actually been there. We may have to try that place out before long. Is there alot of water crossings? We like to ride creeks and rivers.

We were there last weekend also. Greg is working on getting attached trails to the Big Piney trail system.. He has a few. When he gets a complete set of attaching trails there will be weeks of riding in the immediate area.

Is this primitive camping or does it have water/electric hookup? And where is it located? The website doesn't give a location.

Right now he has fifteen sites that all have electric and water hookups along with a picnic table at each site. He also provides each site with concrete blocks for leveling, which you won't need much because the sites are pretty level and long enough to fit in big trailers also. The nearest town will be Roby,MO which is about four miles away. He gives direction on his website, if you click on the contact us button, I think that is where they are. If he does not answer his phone, he will call back because he works some strange hours at the local prison.
