If the truck was stolen by professionals, the dog's odds aren't good..but I would check every day with pounds and humane societies in a 50 mile radius. With any luck the thieves may turn them loose and they might get picked up. If it was just a random act (ie the keys were in the truck and someone couldn't resist) then I might try flea markets and see if anyone is selling either the dogs or parts from the truck. The best bet for this person is to spend her spare time looking...unfortunetely, the police don't do much to find stolen vehicles. Lack of manpower, resources, etc.

This is awful. Did they break into the truck right there at a truckstop and hotwire it? If so, that's scary. If she left it running, or left the keys in it, that's just plain stupid.
Several trucks were stolen at the OKC fairgrounds during the last few big shows, just because people do not learn that there are thieves lurking in all of the places where nice trucks congregate, and they KNOW that someone will be dumb enough to get out for a minute to feed and leave it unattended....Especially at OKC. These scumbags just hang around there waiting for the next easy victim.
I have a Powerlock installed on my truck. It can't be hotwired. Even if they break in, they can't get the truck unless they tow it off, and I always leave it parked with my wheels turned. Sad, but even alarms and Onstar don't stop the professionals. www.powerlock.com.

Dogs & truck have been FOUND!! I do not have the details, but if I get them I will post them. I am sure the dogs owner is happy. He had posted a $2,500.00 reward. Not sure if that is what got them back ...but they are now with the owner. THANKS!!!!!!

The truck and animals were stolen from Fruitland, MO; near Flickerwood Arena from a hotel parking lot. They were found just 7 miles south in Jackson, MO in a parking lot (truck w/the dogs still in their boxes). An employee at the place they were found noticed the truck there around 8 am, but did not realize until 6 pm yesterday when they saw it on the local news what and who it belonged too.
