I am looking at a Featherlite trailer to pull behind a 03' F150 Supercrew. It looks to be well taken care of. The tag on the neck says it was manufactured in 1997. It is 7x15 w/a small tack area in the front. I know the person pretty well that is selling it. They have used it mostly for hauling heifers to stock shows. The aluminum trailer world is new to me could someone give me an idea of what the trailer should be worth ?

Thanks in advance.

Yes I'm going to be towing a 15ft gooseneck w/a 1/2 ton pickup. Do you see that as a problem ?

Just responding to the prior post. I'm new to this "forum" thing. I pulled a gooseneck most of my life w/a 1/2 ton, just never a shortbed 4x4 w/ 17 inch tires. Maybe I'm being a worry wort.

just know your weights/limits.  most users on this forum are unfamiliar/uncomfortable towing with anything less than a 3/4 ton.  sort of shows their actual experience level to me..........

I have a friend who has been pulling a 4 horse Adams Alum GN 4' shortwall DR with a GMC 1/2T Extended cab V8 gas. It's a Heavy Half with airbags and they have almost 90,000 miles pulling. I questioned the set up the first time we went to Graves Mtn with them. They pulled 4 horses there. They have not had a bit of trouble.  Her husband sells trucks and ordered it for pulling.

The empty weight on the Featherlite you are looking at will be 4550lb. Look to see what the gross vech weight on your truck would be then add in for horses and tack. I know of several people that are pulling 3 horse GN trailers with 1/2 ton pickups and are getting along fine. Any questions on the Featherlite trailers call 888-415-6700 for Tom       Thanks!
