Hello, I am considering purchasing a used Tex Tan Flex Tree saddle. The seller does not know with width of the tree, and I have had no luck contacting Tex Tan to get information. Does any on know how to read the serial numbers so that width can be determined? The numbers are 08TF4012 then a (C or O) 75 next set are 0405-4321 8 Thanks Joan

Action Company, McKinney, TX 800-937-3700 now owns Tex Tan, Billy Cook, Abetta, Simco, Longhorn and other brand names. Rumored they do not answer many questions as they do not have records for older saddles. www.actioncompany.com

1st set of numbers should be the model number, 2nd set of numbers is the month and year it was made and the last set is the serial number. I believe your saddle was made in April 2005. Many of their records were lost in the 2006 fire.
