Anyone used them to finance a trailer?
I found them on horsetrailerworld.com and was curious if they were decent to work with?
my biggest problem has been I have good credit, just no credit if that makes sense.

I'm in the process of finalizing a loan through them. I applied on-line and so far things are going smoothly. I sent the application in on Friday and heard that we had loan approval today (Monday). I still have papers to send in, but so far things are moving along okay. I'll update when all is done.

Hi - Last week I contacted Amanda at Southeast Financial and got approval in less than 2 hours! We live in Michigan and traveled to Kansas to pick up our trailer. She called the dealer and handled everything for us! It was one of the easiest transactions I've ever had, dealing with a financial organization. Right now the interest rates are too high - even with a credit score of 750 with more than half down-payment. That is disappointing. But at least with a LQ trailer you can write off the interest to Uncle Sam!

Our interest rate for a period of 72 months with no penalty for early pay-off is 8.49% which I think is truly reprehensible! Consider here in Michigan with HIGH property taxes, a 6% sales tax and 1% to about 3% interest on savings type accounts...I think that they actually don't want to make loans to consumers - they got all that bail-out money and they would rather deal with the government - who guarantees payment!!! Just my 2 cents worth of complaining!!! I would hate to try to get a loan with blemished credit right now! They advertise low rates - but then, try to get them!!!

That interest rate is in line with the rates that we have been getting for customers with good credit.  If you don't have good or better than good credit, they don't even want to consider you.   Our tax dollars at work.

EXACTLY! I have good credit, but don't have credit. Which MAKES no sense to me yes I'm 22 years old and haven't needed a loan until now. It's like I'm being punished for not wanting to go into debt early in life.

Not to mention how rude most of them are when you mention wanting a loan on a horse trailer.

I thought all of their loans were simple interest with no penalty for early pay off.  I guess I have another question for them tomorrow.
