Anyone have recommendations?  I've found threads on aluminum trailers and threads on Rumbar floors, but having a hard time finding info on trailers with both.  I would realistically be looking at a 2H bumper pull in the mid-price range($15,000ish or less would be even better!), new or used, straight or slant.  Any ideas?

Dream Coach offers a Rumber floor in their all aluminum trailers, in all models.  Their two horse bumper pull is in your price range.   I'm sure there are other all aluminum manufacturers that do too.   Hawk and Trail-et offer Rumber, but these are composite aluminum skin on galvaneal frame construction.

Blue Ridge Trailer Sales is in your area, I know they are rumber floor fans.

I was reading about rumber floors. A Hawk trailer dealer in North Carolina wrote on her website that you shouldn't have rumber floors if your horse paws. I'm guessing it's because the horse could tear up the floor, but I'm not sure.

I am a dealer, and use a trailer with a Rumber floor.  As I stated on another thread, we hauled a very large gelding who was and is a chronic pawer (is that a word?).  This horse failed, after many miles, to make any impression on the Rumber floor.  I think Rumber is the best thing that has happened to horse trailers sincle the industry dicovered aluminum.  No more mats to wrestle with.

I recently went to a trailer manufacturer that also used Rumber material for their trailer bumpers. They use a solid stock, formed into a "D" bumper shape. It is machined out where the cam latches are affixed, but otherwise in appearance, looks like a conventional rubber bumper.

The advantage is when a horse steps on it, it won't deform and allow his hoof to slip. It protects the rear cross member and doesn't wear out. As Kay says, it seems to be a good, long lasting product.

My first two trailers had rumbar floors and I had the 2nd trailer for 11 years. I hauled many horses that pawed and the floor looked great and had no wear anywear after constant use.

I wish my current trailer had rumbar floors and I agree that they are a superior floor material.

Classic offers both. Also has the figerglass roof which really does make a huge difference in the summer. The "Monarch" model has the rumber floors.
