I hate this time of year like the northerners hate the bitter cold.... South Fla's been lucky so far, just rain and wind from Fay and Gustav. In fact, we had a wonderful ride Sat due to the nice breeze from Gustav. We're all hoping our luck can continue to hold this season, but it's pretty scary with so many storms forming so quickly all the time.
Hope everyone affected by Gustav makes it home safely.

Good ol' Gustav is still causing rain here in central NE Kansas. It has rained non-stop for a full 36 hours. Glad I got to ride everyday over Labor Day weekend since the trails will be a mess again. Sigh....

the rain started around 2 am (Fri) from Hanna and it's still raining hard. Driving into to work, the main roads only has some buildup on the sides, but an inner road I take to the back of City Hall was already getting flooded in some spots.... Hanna's moving fast (20 MPH) so it should pass by noon and then it's time to prepare for Ike.
gotta trim 2 trees some, put the shutters up, bring in stuff, bag hay, fill every water container, etc... I hate these *&*^%^$ storms with a passion!
