Has anyone had a hay rack built vs paying the high cost of ordering one. If so does anyone have a design, demintions, or pics to go from.

I've built two out of steel, primed them and painted them just as I would anything else. Covered the sides in white aluminum and put a stainless nose cap on them to match the trailers they went on. Spent about $400 in materials and built them in less than a day plus painting time. My trailers were 7' wide so I made them 7'X7' and 10" tall with 2" legs that bolted to the top rails on the trailers.

Our used Logan has a rack on it that looks to be homemade. It's a steel tube frame rack with diamond plate sides, mounting feet, and a ladder. Looks pretty basic and shouldn't be hard to make if you can weld. PM me your email and I'll send you some pictures of it.

I didnt make it, it was already on there. I'm sure you can copy it from the pictures, it's just a metal rectangular frame. I'm sure you could use aluminum if you know how to MIG/TIG weld.

I am also looking for plans.  I was quoted $1200 for one by the dealer!!!!  WOW figure how many bales you could buy for that!
