Need to put new tires on my living quarters and looking for the best tire for the money. I only haul trailer less than 10 times a year. Elite 4 horse/8' short wall. Heavy trailer. Size is 235 85 R16. I have Hercules, Low range F on there now. They are only 3 years old and are showing signs of dry rot. They are sheltered, off the ground and out of sunlight so not sure why they are not holding up. I do not want to spend a crazy amount...... Thanks.

Yes - the Hankook is manufactured in south Korea and 10 times a better tire than any of the ones made in China ( which is most of the trailer tires on the market ).

most Hankook tires are made in korea, however some are also made in china, albeit they are still much better tires then westlake or hercules. My personal preference is that you replace all after 4 years of use though, so 3 years for cheaper tires is not too bad. I know they can last longer, i just hated getting flats. YMMV

Had Hankook tires without any problem. Had no blowouts whatsoever, though tread life wasn't so impressive. I'm running Maxxis right now, and so far they are holding up fine.
