Have you folks noticed the spammer that has invaded this forum? He/she registered on July 2 in the wee hours and proceded to post 20 "replies", all hyping his "diablo gold" scheme. Today I see he/she even put up a poll. Since I was following a thread and getting a notice in my personal e-mail, I found the first post. It was jibberish and I figured the the author was drunk since it was written 2 a.m. Then I saw the plug for "gold". BTW, the spammer put up the poll under a different login, but same jibberish and plug for gold.

I saw it too. Replies to almost every post in extremely poor English...not sure if they are drunk or in another country as the time of the posts are in the middle of the night here.

Right. I was following a thread and got an e-mail notifying me of a recent post. When I went to it, the post was jibberish. When I saw the time, I figured the author was "over the limit" or of limited English. But the comment was way off the topic. Then I happened to notice the oodles of posts.
I reviewed the rules of the board and saw where this kind of person failed to follow several rules. Takes a lot of gall to invade a nice forum like Dave created for us.
