No but wish I was. You know, right after Thanksgiving, you can ride for free from Myrtle Beach State Park or Garden City Beach. If anyone wants to ride on the beach then, just PM me. Have a blast!DebMedicineHatGirl

Permit to ride on the beach from MBSP was $25 last year.

If you buy the pass to ride on the beach is there somewhere to camp with your horse?

The beach would be great if there was not 1,000 people at one time. I'm all for it after the heart ride.

Just got back from Myrtle Beach ride and beleive it or not the weather was great. Looked awful on the weather but was very nice I wore short sleaved shirts and gave the horses a bath every day.  With everyone riding at different times and different directions it didn't seem to be so many people and it was down in numbers this time. Still it was a great ime and this was my 7th year. I just dread the 11 and a half hour drive.

I did that a few yrs ago c/o a friend who lives there. Loved the ride, riders were so spread out it didn't feel cramped...BUT we weren't camping there! yeeee booyyee that campground was packed to the gills! I got heart palpitations just pondering that much humanity all squished together

Then you probably wouldn't like Eminence Mo. ride over 2500 people there.
