How can I remove these?

Son hauled wire wrapped hay in the front slant and it rubbed black marks on the stud wall. Does anyone know the best way to remove these?

Thanks in advance!

I used the "Mr.Clean" magic erase pads to get the black streaks off of my white tack wall where my bridles and bits hang. It did not do any damage to the paint, just took a little time. Good Luck!

I took off some marks with a spray automotive bug remover and a "maroon" Scotch Brite. The green is too abrasive and can scratch the surface.

Gard, where can I find the maroon scotch brite pad? Have looked at the local Wal-Mart and also checked their products on line and didn't see a maroon one.

Thanks!

Try Lowes or Home Depot. If they don't have the maroon try a gray pad. It is finer than the green. Some sponges are sold with the pads attached. I have seen a variety of different colors and coarseness. They are available in almost any house wares area of many stores.

Or you can order them over the internet and save some gas...
