You once posted you had issues with your brakes on the truck/trailer combo surging violently. Did you ever find out the cause? I have the same issue and am seeking help. Doesn't happen all the time. Electric over Hydraulic brakes.

Do you know what the brand the electric over hydraulic unit you have? What brake controller in in your truck? I'm running the Titan Brakerite and have troubleshooted before.jg

seem to recall Carolyse?? Can check when I get home...along with break unit. Since the brake unit seems to work most of the time, I assume it's compatible.

I've been pushed through intersections going 10 mph...the jerking/serging doesn't allow me to stop at all (but only once in awhile). I go slow because I don't trust it! It almost feels like anti-lock brakes. Had electric brakes before and NEVER a problem..so it has to do with the trailer and not the truck.

From my research the brake unit works or not. Erratic brakes is likely a bad connection or faulty wire. You can test the unit by pulling the emergency disconnect and then go listen to the unit. It should be running continuous and the pump should be humming. BTW this is the same way to bleed the brakes.
