Anyone know of a company that makes lightweight trailer mats similar to the Equifoam mats that used to be manufactured by DOW?  I was just in touch with the company, Clark Foam Products, that used to distribute it and they say it is not being made anymore.

We are getting a couple of sets for our trailers from Colorado Animal Health in Longmont, CO.  I don't know if they would be considered lightweight or not, but they are supposed to make the ride much better.  They will be installed under the existing rubber mats.

if you have a Tractor Supply in your area there mats are great, they are not really light but when wet they are not slick and sell for around $30 each, they are 4'x 6'.

I know, I know!  Your past posts were the reason I tried to find the Equifoam mats!  Here is the closest thing I've been able to find.  They are interlocking but I don't see any reason I can't use them in a trailer, do you?http://www.greatmats.com/products/portable-stall-mats.php

I got some mats from this company http://www.greatmats.com/products/portable-stall-mats.php

and put them in yesterday.  It was a breeze to cut and fit them.  Nice and cushy too.  We'll see how they hold up.

Looks like they would work. Not being as stiff as mine, who knows but what they might even hold up better. Please keep us posted.
