Hey,
Does anyone know of some companies that sell living quarter stuff if you want to do the living quarters yourself. I'm trying to find shower / toilet combos!! Maybe some stuff like vent hoods and stove burners too. THNX!!

Yes I did a complete finish of horse living quarters. I bought a used slide-out camper and used all the equipment from the slide-out and used it in the horse trailer. Saved a lot of money by doing this then buying everything serperate.

I am trying to do the same,,, pretty clueless as to what I need,, and what to do with it after I get it... but want it right,,,, had a person from an RV comp. want to know how there is room for the holding tanks under the trailer, since the trailers are a lot lower than RV's,, Rv's frames set up much higher to allow for deep tanks,,, anyone have answers..... suggestions,,,,

The tank go between the beams that hold up the floor. Yes you have to be carefully because the trailers are much lower then campers. When I did my living quarter I went to a cabinet place with the measurements and dimensions of all the equipment I wanted to use so they can make them and have the living quarters look as good as possible. We also went to a horse trailer dealer and had them order some wall paneling that is used in trailers. You should build walls with 2x2 and build a floor and insolate it with 4x8 sheets of styrofoam. The one thing you want to make sure you use is the invertor so you can use battery's and 110 on the lights.

we have framed and insulated,, used 2x2"s,,, we realize the tanks need to go under the floor,,, the thinnest tank I have found was 5", my thoughts if it were closer to the axles,, there would be less apt for them to be bumped,,, are we seeing this right? does everyone insulate the floor? I know you need a subfloor to run wiring and other lines thru,, never thought about insulating...
