I am betting that they are both about the same product. They are both backed by companies that specialize in road service. US Rider is backed by Motor Club of America who specializes in roadside assistance and offers many private label roadside services to companies.Equipass is backed by Coach-Net which is owned by NMC Holdings. NMC has multiple roadside assistance companies including National Motor Club and also work with private label roadside services.

US Rider does have a limit of $200 on roadside service. The onlyclaim I have had was for mounting my spare trailer tire due to a flat. (Like a dummy I had left my tools at home because I was onlygoing on a day trip.) The servicing company charged $230 and I was located just outside of Nashville, TN at the time. It doesn't appearthat Equipass has such a limit. Any thoughts?

I saw their booth at Congress, noticed the price was higher. US Rider has established themselves with trailer rescue training and good service. Competition is good for all of us though. We'll see how do in the upcoming year. My AQHA membership gets me a $500 rebate on Fords so it pays off fast for me. Wish Dodge and GM would give AQHA rebates, I can't keep buying new Fords every year. Just kidding, I have used the rebate 3 times though between cars and trucks. My truck was in the shop at Ricart 2 of the 3 weeks during Congress. So MrTruck was in a Hyndai for 2 weeks. Like putting a whale in a grocery cart.

My first thought is ...you were ripped off by the service. Was there anything else done besides changing the wheel/tire combo?
I can change a trailer tire with the horses loaded in less than ten minutes. I spend more time pulling the tools out from under the seat and cleaning up.

I wasn't ripped on but US Rider probably was as they agreed topay the entire charge. They took four hours to arrive, kept givinglame excuses such as: on the way but had the wrong service vehiclecoming, etc. When they arrived they were in a Ford Econoline vanwith a generator and compressor in the back. Changed out the insidedual and was back on the road in about 15 minutes. Ripoff? You bet.From get to go it wasn't handled very well. I had cleaned out my truck before I left the house and didn't get everything back in.I will not put myself in that position again. By the way US Rider did tell me that if I did not have a serviceable spare that they could not/would not help even to the point of airing up my spare ifit was flat.....the tire was in fine shape but I was a little hot.

recently had my trailer towed when I ripped off the axles and I needed it loaded on a flatbed. (no horses were in trailer) A local tow company came, and we talked about USRider, as he was new to be one of the companies they use. he said they payed the tow companies VERY well, which is why I think so many of us have had such excellent service.
A $200 limit with USRider is for road service REPAIR, not towing.
As mentioned, I'd bet the AQHA service is much the same, maybe using some of the same towing company contractors.
