Anyone have any experience pulling 20 to 24ft livestock trailers (gooseneck).  I am just looking for advice, any suggestions, etc. What can I expect.   I have only pulled bumper pulls before and this is the first gooseneck I have had.  Any ideas/advice that I need to be aware of would be welcome.

If you fill up the trailer, you can be seriously overloaded. Especially the 24'. Most 24'x7' are behind 1 ton DRW, and when loaded are a handfull.

Your gooseneck trailer weight with 3.73 axle ratio should not exceed 8200#, with 4.10 gears you are limited to 10200#.

Need more truck!  The non HD truck are more for everyday driving the family around with.

Something to expect is "wag the dog action while towing"! while loaded...

I have a 2500HD and pull a 04 Sundowner 777. I think often and question that I have too much truck for this trailer, and sometimes think that a 1500HD would have been fine.
