Howdie

Can anyone point me in the right direction.

I have a 06 F250 DC 4x4 and am looking for some shiny bits for it. Like s/s load box side rails, telescopic chrome mirrors, billet grill, bonet protector etc. I live in SA as most of you already know, so would need the stuff shipped. I have tried a few online places, but have not had any response.

Where do I go for reasonable prices and good service?

Is there a kit to make my 06 look like the new 08 superduty - cos that looks so cool...

Thanks all

Cheers for now --- Nick

Nick.... Ramble around over here...  http://www.thedieselstop.com/forums/  You may be able to find some "bling" for the old F250. At some point you could buy a "chrome kit" for these trucks. There should be someone at the diesel stop that could hook you up with some "shiny bits". Or maybe something like this?  http://www.carpartswholesale.com/parts/ford/f-250/trim_kit.html

If you Google "truck accessories", you will find hundreds of sources for bling. I've mail ordered various performance/appearance parts from several, and have had very good results.

Hi Guys

Thanks for the advice, but I must admit that as soon as I mention that I am from South Africa the doors close. Not one of the companies that I have contacted on the net have been intereted in assisting me.... I cannot believe that no one out there wants my buisness. I sent a mail to my mate Dave from Tobruk Trailers and asked him if he could get the stuff for me and send it on.... I am sure he will sort it out....

Wish I could just walk into a store and buy the stuff - you guys are sure lucky.... I tell you if I lived in the US I would for sure have a 08 super duty... they are so cool. All I can do is try and spruice up my truck - which I must say I love...

Have a great weekend.

Cheers for now.....Nick

Nick, I have a great idea..... Buy yourself a new SuperDuty, leave it with me here in the U.S.A. and I'll pull my trailers, log up a bunch of miles and tell you all about it and post pictures here on HTW!! I'll even furnish all the fuel, keep it serviced and pay the license and insurance!!! Sounds like a deal?!! What da ya say??!! You can even pick the color!!

Good luck "Pimpin yo Powerstroke"

For accessories try: Stylin Trucks, Stylin Concepts and LMC Truck Parts. For go parts, try Jeggs. They all have free catalogues, but I have no idea about overseas deliveries. Their in state services are excellent.

PS. Watch out for that scammer from NC. The last I heard, he was trying to sell water wings for geese to the National Park Service.

Hey Retento that was nausty......

We are not permitted to import LHD vehicles - and quite honest it is not safe - it makes overtaking near impossable while towing.. I had a 911 porsche that was LHD... at least you had the Power to hang back and make a run at overtaking. But still it was a pain.

Guard - Thanks I will go check them out....

Will let you know if I come right... Thanks guys
