Can anyone give me ideas? I have a 4 ft short wall and I want to insulate/panel/ redo the floor and add cabinets, storage, maybe some sort of couch, etc. I am looking for creative floor plans, pics, anything at this point! I want it to look unique though. Not the same ole same ole

May I suggest that first of all, you have to decide what is important to YOU!! What all do you want to fit in this area. See I for one can Pee in a bucket with a lid on it , but .. at the end of a dusty day have to have a HOT SHOWER!!So with the room I have I had to choose between a potty or a shower and I of course chose the Shower. Some people would rather have had a flushing potty and just swipe down with a damp rag instead of a shower or would have elected a cowboy shower. So everyone is different.
Tell us about what your musts are and maybe someone can give you some ideas.

I'm with you, Monsterhorse-gotta have that shower. And I'd rather it wasn't a community one. Not that I'm too modest, but those are typically nasty. And while I'd love to have a way to nuke some popcorn, I do NOT want to cook and do dishes at a horse show. So-bathroom GOOD/kitchen-just not necessary

I have a dressing room like you describe here is pics of what I did to it. There is a saddle rack that is removable in the slant wall corner. I have thought about putting a shower in that spot. It would be tight thou. If I would shorten the couch bench then it would probably work better. http://http://www.debknudson.freewebspace.com/photo2.html

I want to have cabinets and storage. I do not want to have a shower in the trailer ( I may add a cowboy shower int he back later..)I do not want a stove, fridge, micro, oven, toilet. Basically I want storage and I am thinking of building in some sort of "L" shaped couch that resembles a captain bed so that I can have storage under neath, a place for extra people to sleep, guests to sit. I am also thinking of building some sort of flip down table. I know I dont want that much in here but how to deisgn it most efficiently is the question. And to acheive a unique look..??

There is a video that you can get that is very good as far as it goes. It covers electrical and finishing, but no plumbing, propane or heat and air. It is called Do-It-Yourself Trailer Living Quarters. You can google it and go to the web site, or you can buy it on ebay. It is $24.95. It does not give much for floor plan information. I have spent several hours going to different conversion and trailer company websites and found some information but not as much as I would like. I have a 9' straight wall and there's not much out there for straight wall. I want a frig, micro, and sink, no stove or oven. I do want a shower and am deciding about the toilet. What I would really like would be to find someone that would be willing to do the mechanical installation for me and let me insulate, do the floor and cabinets, but don't know if anyone will be willing to do that.

I was like a lot of others, in that I did not want a full shower, but I did want a porta potty. I put in a sink and water under presure, and a small microwave. I can heat up the water in the microwave to wash up. I dont plan on cooking inside, but if things turn off nasty, I can heat something up. I have a long bench seat and a table on a post that removable, with the post hole mounted under the floor to keep the floor level. I have pictures on my web site.
