woundering what people have been doing for the bed of the 4x4 dodges being up so high the neck of trailers........i have a 02 dodge 3500 4x4 and the bed of it sits to high for my trailer i have the cupler all the way up and there are places that i can't go due to the neck of the trailer coming down and hitting the bed of the truck......just wanted to find out if anyone else has had this prob and what to do to fix it

I've got the 3/4 ton and it's fairly tall. Some folks have removed the spacers below the leaf springs in the rear since most sit high in the rear any way. They just move them from the bottom to above the axle tube, there's a writeup here:

That'll buy you about 1-1/4 inches - not a ton, but not bad for free...

hey thats great info but that is my prob.. i have 4" blocks under my leafs and after removel of these i think my skocks will be to long but i'm going to do more reseach on this prob and i will post any info that i can come up with

I have a 2003 Dodge 3/4 T 4X4 pull a 2005 Bison 3 h LQ trailer. Yes, the clearance is close. No problems so far. I did put a pop-up hitch extender on to give more room between the tailgate and trailer. Otherwise, it was pretty tight to get my fat a$$ in there.
