Was hoping someone here could tell me where to look for an awning to attatch to my '"97 2h slant gooseneck. I assume you can buy them after market but wasn't sure where to start looking. I'm in central california, would like not to try to go through a horse trailer dealer as they are outrageous here.

Thanks guys!

We bought an A&E awning through a local horse trailer mfg. While we were at it, we had them go ahead and do the install, glad we did. Eighteen months after it was installed we noticed that the fabric was starting to crack and seperate. Called the dealer and sent pictures. After a couple days we got a call to tell us to drop the trailer off for about an hour and they would install the new awning....... while we waited.......for free! Don't know if A&E would have replaced it had we installed it ourselves, and wouldn't want to find out. This awning is 21' long.

Any trailer or Rv place should have one.

  Yep!

Camping world. They are the dealer for a&e awnings. I think the trailer place in Arroyo Grande has them also.

Mine's a Carefree of Colorado awning.  Do a search and you'll find their webpage.  A Spririt FX or Fiesta model is what you're probably looking for.  I'm not sure if I got a lemon or if the woman who owned the trailer before me was just rough on the awning, but I just keep replacing parts.  They've been easy to find, which is good.  But I wish I could just use it once without breaking something else.
