Just bought new Exiss 3 horse LQ, Sierra interior , hope this question isn't too stupid, but trailer came equipped with TV prep featuring antenna w/power booster. Does this mean there will be crank up roof antenna? If so I cannot find any type of crank in the LQ for this, there is a round looking type antenna on roof.

Thank you , assumed as so. It is raised several inches up from roof, nothing in the Sierra manual addresses if there is another way to lower it or if this is the level it is always to sit at..

I bought a used trailer with this same antennae. We've not been able to get it to work BUT have to say we live in an area w/o local TV reception. Does it automatically pick up stations when you are in areas that broadcast or do we have to turn something on? It also has a DVD hooked to it & that has worked fine.

I bought a used trailer and had an antenna on it but is the old analog style. You may have to upgrade antenna to receive digital. RV dealers will have a kit you can convert to. Good Luck

I have the same antenna - even replaced it with a new one. You will only get stations if you are parked next to the transmitting tower, needless to say I am not impressed.
